Scalpel wanders around the Alleyways.

Scalpel tugged his torn coat around his body more tightly, shivering. How long had it been since he felt bitter cold, aside from the biting cold steel of surgical blades? Too long it seemed, as his teeth chattered and he hugged Chisel close to him when it tried to poke it's head out from a doctors coat pocket. " Don't worry friend, i'll get us somewhere warm." he said as he searched for someone to help him.

Most people walking the streets are mortals and just look at Scalpel like he's some kind of dirty homeless man.

Looking around, there is brightly lit coffee house with a sign proclaiming it to be Ridiculous Coffee. There is also a bar that has a sign in the style of an old, English pub saying it is called the Full Moon Pub. Some rowdy patrons can be seen leaving it. Both of this places could possibly have other Lost inside them and would at least be warmer than the streets.

Scalpel sees both establishments and ponders for a moment before going into the coffee shop, the smell of roasting coffee pleasing to his nose. As he entered the shop, he momentarily was shocked to see so many... normal people. While it was a welcome sight to all the medical horrors he had been accustomed to, he began to panic slightly when he looked at a window and caught a glimpse of his reflection. He looked so horrific, surely someone would see this and try to take him away again! He slowly tried to find somewhere to hide.

before he can start freaking out about his appearance too much, scalpel is distracted by a scalding sensation. a woman bumps into him as she is trying to leave, distracted by someone she is talking to behind her, and spills some of her coffee on him. "Oh god, I'm so sorry!" As she looks at him, her face changes from concern to shock. "Ok, you're coming with me." She grabs him by the arm and pulls him out of the cafe and back onto the street. As she does, you catch a glimpse of a gangly wizened looking very a little dumbstruck but also amused, sitting in a chair with a laptop. Other an that there are no noticeable changelings in the cafe.

Scalpel was dragged and dug in his heels a bit "Miss! Please stop this!!" he said rather shakily.

you feel her muscles bulge a little(stone 1) as she laughs, "sir, i have to deal with ogres who don't want to go to their doctors appointments, digging your heels in isn't going to help any. i'm just taking you back to the clinic. it's quiet there and we can get you patched up and into some not shredded clothes."

Stitches no longer tried to pull away, but quickly started talking again. "No no, I can take care of my own injuries, I do not wish for anyone else to do tend to them! please, I don't want to go to a clinic!" he said with increasing franticness
